IC-338D Icom 430Mhz FM Mobile

Icomの古いモービル機をオークションでゲット
ＡＦ出力が小さくビビッてましたがアンプ廻りのＣを交換して改善しました。

Recently I got old Icom mobile 430Mhz FM IC-338D by Japanese Auction (Yahoo Auction) about USD 20 only.
Seller was describing no warranty for function, just confirmed power ON.
Since I was looking for some mobile 430Mhz FM for use, I did get it.
At receipt of it, I found AF output is not enough and something wrong.
Mostly, this phenomenon caused by failed capacitors.

After replaced some with new one, AF audio was improved successfully.
IC-388D is originally 35watts but now aged more than 20 yrs after manufactured, down to abt 20 watts. However it is still fine for my use.
